Forum Title: Cleaning Wedges
I know that this has been discussed already, but I couldn't find it after searching for an hour or so. Someone posted what to soak wedges in to remove the thinset build up. I thought it was Sulfamic Acid? Any help would be appreciated.

Basically acid destroys alkaline, depending on how it's diluted, I've used muriatic acid (pool supply for PH)for Portland on tools, spacers, etc. there is a specific liquid, but I'm not buying it. I dilute, then change to stronger if it doesn't break down.

I use Sulfamic, didn't know about Muriatic. Any extra precautions for skin contact?
